Painting the stress away
The art of De-Stressing!Okay I'll admit, the "sip" part of paint & sip is more my strength. But there is something about putting the paint brush to the canvas that makes the 2 hours or so of a Pinot's Palette-Dulles session feel like AHHHHHHHHHH.Recently I saw the funniest meme on facebook. It was of a gal texting a friend saying," If I went to one of those paint & sip classes the instructor would be like-'Look at you, you are really good at the wine!'" LOL/Haha but I do resemble that remark a little. No matter, as long as I am having fun, being creative and not stressing, the final masterpiece does NOT need to be hung at the Smithsonian! Just my home. Some of mine make it to the closet, some the basement, and some proudly propped up on the mantel. Some of our painters give them as gifts (they are better artists than me), some have a personal Pinot's Palette art gallery in their home, some simply enjoy the experience and put the paintings in a spare room. Others choose seasonal paintings and change them out with the season. What we all have in common is that we enjoy a stress free (I'll go so far as to say a de-stressing) couple of hours to have fun, socialize and create. (The wine is great too)Paint with us
