Do you want to try new painting techniques? You are in luck! Today we are featuring how you can turn a blank canvas into a wood grain canvas😍

Who doesn't love a faux wood piece? It adds so much depth and brings the outdoors in for a nice relaxing space.

All you need is a flat brush and a small round brush as well as a blank canvas.
White, Yellow, Brown, and Black acrylic paint on the palette🎨

2 dabs white + 1 dab brown + 1 dab yellow with a flat brush
Apply to the horizontal canvas with horizontal with sweeping brushstrokes over the entire canvas.
Then add horizontal layers of all four colors, don't rinse in between colors.
Use a wet brush to soften lines.🖌
Use the brush tip for thin lines that go across the entire canvas.

To Make oblong wood shapes:
Accentuate your boards with a darker color and Voila'! You have your very own wood canvas😍
