Kids’ Art Camps and Workshops in Louisville with Little Brushes
School is out, and your child is ready to do something with all that energy and imagination. Little Brushes® at Pinot’s Palette St. Matthews turns school-break days into time for painting, making, playing, and trying something new.
We usually hold Little Brushes camp days when school is out for breaks. Our usual camp ages are 5–12, and a typical session lasts three hours. Drop-off is allowed, giving children time to create with the group while grown-ups have a few hours for their own plans.
A typical camp day includes a painting, a craft, an activity, and a snack. That variety gives young artists different ways to take part. They can concentrate on a painting, try another creative project, and enjoy a change of pace with an activity before the session ends.
What will my child make?
The projects vary by session. Painting is part of a typical camp day, with a craft and other activities rounding out the experience. Little Brushes encourages children to enjoy making choices and creating something of their own, with guidance along the way. Your child does not need previous painting experience to get started.
Choosing a camp or workshop
Check the St. Matthews event calendar for currently scheduled Little Brushes camps and workshops. Open the individual event before booking to confirm the date, age guidance, session length, projects, and price. A workshop may have a different format from a three-hour camp day, so the listing is the best place to check what is included.
If the break you are planning for is not listed yet, email us to ask about upcoming options. Camps are scheduled for selected days; a school holiday does not automatically mean a camp is running.
Before drop-off
Dress your child in clothing that can handle paint and review the event’s arrival and pickup information. Let us know about snack allergies or other needs before booking so we can discuss the session with you. Please confirm any forms or additional items needed for your child’s particular camp.
