Boy or Girl? Have Your Gender Reveal Party At Pinot’s Palette!
We already offer many different types of themed classes that everyone loves, and now, we’re adding ‘Gender Reveal’ to the list.
Book the studio for a private party, create the guest list of your choice, and celebrate learning the gender of your baby with a painting class!
We’ve all seen the cake cutting, balloon popping, confetti guns exploding, and other adorable ways to tell the world what you’re having, but what about a new and extra-special way to announce it???
With our panting classes, the revelation of your baby’s gender will be fun, interactive, and downright creative!
Entertain your guests, as they create a painting, enjoy some time with loved ones, then leave with a handmade work of art to hang in the baby’s room. You’ll always remember the fun time you had and the wonderful people who helped make the day so special with a painting class, dedicated to your baby and finding out if it’ll be a “he” or “she”!
*** Here’s how it works:
STEP 1:
Start by booking your event with our studio.
When you plan a private party with us, you get to be in charge of everything! Select the date and time that you want to have your event, choose who to invite, pick the painting, and decide how you want to serve food and drinks, decorate, play games, and more!
Make your event the way YOU want it to be, and we’re here to help you the whole way though.
STEP 2:
Decide on the painting!
We have thousands of paintings in our library for you to choose from; Keep in mind that the artwork will be going home with you, and many people want to put in in the baby’s room. Consider a painting that works with the theme of your nursery decor; We have a large library of artwork for you to choose from, and remember that any of the paintings there, can be altered to fit the reveal!
Select a painting you like and let us know how you want it to accommodate the pink or blue accent for the last step. The last thing that's added to the painting will be painted with blue or pink paint, so our team will help design the layout of the painting, making sure to include your gender reveal, last! :)
Note: If you don’t find one in our extensive Pinot’s Palette library, let us know what you’re looking for, and one of our talented artists can make one… JUST FOR YOU!
(*) Reach out to us and let us know if you want something specifically designed. For an additional fee, you can have your own personal artwork to create, adding an extra-special meaning to the masterpiece!
Get a customized painting, created just for you, that will be sure to fit in perfectly with the decorations in your nursery!
Once the painting, itself, is decided on, you can choose how you want the process (and painting style) to go!
We have a lot of options for utilizing our classes:
*Individual Canvases:
Each person gets their own canvas (we offer a variety of sizes), and they’ll be walked through the painting, step-by-step, just like our regular, public classes. This is the most common type of painting style for our private (celebration) parties; It’s nice for your guests to take something home with them at the end of this great experience, and always remember the day and what it meant. Think of how much it would mean for your grandmother or sister to have a painting in their home that reminds them of you and their great-grandchild or niece/nephew, each time they see it.
*Puzzle Painting:
Each person paints a piece of the painting, and after the painting is finished everyone puts the puzzle together to reveal the final image.
This is a super fun way to do a reveal, as everyone works together on the majority of the project, and then an added layer of excitement comes in when Mom and Dad will each paint their own piece, one representing boy and the other representing girl. After all the pieces are put together, the artist will slip in the parent’s final piece to reveal the gender to the group.
This is one of the most popular painting styles for our team-building private events, and always turns our great!
*Collaborative Painting:
This is a wonderful way to have everyone work together to create a large-scale work of art to hang in your home, at the end of class!
The group all paints on one large canvas to create a beautiful masterpiece for new baby. The artist will prepare the canvas in advance to cover up the gender color with tape, and the group will paint over and around the image that reveals the gender. When the painting is finished, the tape is removed to reveal the gender to the group.

STEP 3:
Let us in on the secret!
We’ll need to know the gender ahead of time to help with the big reveal. If the gender is a surprise for everyone, parents-to-be included, bring us the envelope that holds the baby’s gender, and we’ll get to work on helping to plan your party and the painting you’ll be creating!
STEP 4:
Time To Party!
Come in on the day of the event and decorate, set up food and drinks as you like, or let us know ahead of time if you’re catering the event. We can even make some great suggestions for some local places that cater that we’ve had wonderful experiences with, time and time again.

We’ll help you with everything from booking the party, to designing/planning the painting, and the cleanup after it’s over!
*We can build in time for your party games or mingling or anything else you want to use extra time for), making the painting a 2 hour activity, and adding in an extra hour for whatever you want!
