February 13th Is 'Galentine’s Day!’ Spend It With Us!!!
If you’re unfamiliar with the term, 'Galentine’s Day’ it’s a “holiday” (that originated in 2010), which Amy Poehler's Parks and Rec character, 'Leslie Knope’ created. It occurs every year on February 13, the day before Valentine's Day.
As Leslie herself explains on the show:
"Oh, it's only the best day of the year. Every February 13th, my lady friends and I leave our husbands and our boyfriends at home, and we just come and kick it, breakfast-style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It's like Lilith Fair, minus the angst. Plus frittatas.
We fully support and greatly admire the concept of Galentine’s Day so this year, we’ll be hosting this special class for all you ladies out there who need a night out! We’ve specifically set up these classes for all of you beautiful, strong, independent women who work hard and want to celebrate life with the ultimate Girls’ Night Out!!! Join us for this event and have a great night out with all the other ladies, celebrating ladies.
When you celebrate with us this February 13, you’ll be experiencing a fun, unique, and special day where you’ll paint, sip some wine, and listen to some great music. Spend time with your friends, catching up, in a creative space where you’ll leave with a handmade work of art to treasure for years to come! A painting and wine class at Pinto’s Palette is the perfect place to spend time! You’ll spend time in a interesting and creative, environment getting in touch with your inner-artist and creating a masterpiece from scratch! Especially exciting for first-time painters, this class will open your eyes to a new kind of fun. The opportunity to be an artist for a night and end up proud of how well you did for having little to no, prior experience is always rewarding!
