DIY Easter egg Wreath!
It’s almost Easter and with this holiday comes a whole lot of bunnies, eggs, pastel colors, flowers, and candy! Brighten your door with this super easy-to-make, inexpensive, and adorable egg wreath! Mostly, made with items from the dollar store, this is the perfect craft because it’s completely do-able for a crafter on any experience level, with any budget!
The tutorial will show you how to make the wreath by creating your base out of a ring-shaped piece of cut cardboard. We actually made this wreath and this is the method we went with (the cardboard base); It worked out wonderfully and has been going strong for the past 6 years! Have fun making this craft, specified to your taste and style. You can get the eggs in so many colors, patterns, and even textures. Get glittery or brightly colored eggs for a fun and cheerful wreath; grab some pastel, spotted one for a natural-looking wreath; or even go with all one color for everything (or minimal colors) for a sophisticated and modern wreath!
All you’ll need for the wreath is:
-A wreath form made from cardboard (*Or any wreath form you can find in the craft store will work perfectly!)
(**NOTE: feel free to paint your wreath base with acrylic paint to hide the cardboard color or any font, printed on it, for a cleaner look!)
-Artificial eggs (can be found at the dollar store)
-Crinkled, paper filler (or even some Easter basket grass)
-Hot glue gun and sticks
-A ribbon for hanging or a bow
-A screw driver (*this will help you to push the “grass” down into the spots between the eggs when you’re filling those in for the last step)
NOTE:
(*The tutorial makes the wreath with all items, found at the dollar store, so it cost only a few dollars to make!)
Not bad for an upscale-looking wreath that YOU made yourself!
Now, grab those easy-to-find supplies, get into a creative mode, and start crafting, today!
Enjoy!
