No canvas? No problem!!!

Are you in the mood to create something artistically wonderful but don't have a canvas on hand? Maybe you aren't familiar with the different types of canvases or can't afford the often-steep prices. Perhaps you don't have much wall space to hang a larger painting but still desperately need to release your creativity...
Well, we're here to help! We want to offer some canvas-free creativity ideas for you to utilize. From wooden signs to glassware, we've got some thoughts on what you can paint!

Check out this HUGE list of ideas for glass paint!!! (*sold in most craft stores, along-side the acrylic paints- typically labeled, "Enamel paint"). Glass paints will work on glass, tile, and ceramic surfaces so there are endless options for what you can paint!! (*many of these make great gift ideas, as well!):

How about the super trendy wooden decor?! Wooden and rustic decor is so in right now... why not create some for your home?! You can buy pre-made wooden signs or plaques at the craft store for a lower price-point than a canvases OR stop into your local hardware store and have a long piece of wood cut to the desired size!

**you can also get wooden picture frames and have a blast decorating them! The kids will LOVE to help out with those, too!!!

If you have a lot of time and somewhere to do it... GO BIG!!!!! Cover a section of fence outside! Maybe the side of your concrete garage needs some color or your kids want something special on their walls! If you're really into art and want the world to see it, you can always ask around at local businesses and see if they'd be interested in having you do a mural on their building!! Get crazy and just go for it! Unleash that creative monster inside and be proud to show it off!!
