YARN WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THIS CLASS, so please bring your own! We recommend 4 skeins of chunky chenille yarn for a 40”x 50” throw blanket. For larger blankets, 5-6
skeins can be used.

YARN SIZE: Jumbo 7 or larger. Please note, in some brands, Size 7 is not jumbo, make sure it's large, chunky yarn.

Step-by-step instruction from a talented local artist.
Learn the basics of finger knitting and complete a soft, stylish blanket in one session.
This version is Bring Your Own Yarn — you’ll need approximately 4 skeins of chunky yarn, Jumbo 7 or larger, in your favorite color(s).
We recommend Bernat Blanket Big Yarn from Michaels but as long as it is Jumbo 7 Chunky Yarn, it will work.

Great for beginners and craft enthusiasts alike!

Guests enjoy a no-experience-required art class - - directed by trained, local artists who guide you step- by-step through a featured painting. The more the merrier, INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!

We ask that you arrive in the area and park at least 30 minutes prior to class start time. Weekends are especially busy in the Short North. Parking information is available in our FAQ. Anyone arriving later than 15 minutes after the start time may not be able to join the class or may have to catch up on their own without artist assistance.

  • How do I sign up for a class?

    Signing up is easy. Click the "Classes" link on the side of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint, type the number of seat in the white box and click "Add to Cart." Sign in if you are a Pinot Perks member and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the order.

  • What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?

    PUBLIC CLASSES GROUPS OF 1-2: Fully refundable if cancelled 48+ hours before class time. From 24-48 hours before class time the reservation paid value can be transferred to another class. No refunds, reschedules or event credits if cancelled less than 24 hours before class time. PUBLIC EVENTS - GROUPS OF 3 OR MORE: Require at least 7 days advanced notice for refund or reschedule credits. PRIVATE EVENTS: Fully refundable if cancelled 14+ days in advance. No refunds if cancelled <14 days before scheduled private event.

  • Will you start on time?

    Yes. We start each event at the scheduled time. We recommend you arrive in the area at least 30 minutes prior to the start time to ensure you arrive on time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, you will not be able to join the class to avoid disruption to the rest of our guests.. No refunds or class credits are given to late guests.

  • Where do I park?

    There's easy to use permit or metered street parking in the area OR 3 parking garages within a short 3-5 minute walk.

  • Can I bring my own drinks?

    BYOB is not allowed by our liquor license. We do have a full bar with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for purchase.
