How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Click the "Classes" link on the side of the page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint, type the number of seat in the white box and click "Add to Cart." Sign in if you are a Pinot Perks member and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the order.

What is your cancellation/reschedule policy?

PUBLIC CLASSES GROUPS OF 1-2: Fully refundable if cancelled 48+ hours before class time. From 24-48 hours before class time the reservation paid value can be transferred to another class. No refunds, reschedules or event credits if cancelled less than 24 hours before class time. PUBLIC EVENTS - GROUPS OF 3 OR MORE: Require at least 7 days advanced notice for refund or reschedule credits. PRIVATE EVENTS: Fully refundable if cancelled 14+ days in advance. No refunds if cancelled <14 days before scheduled private event.

Will you start on time?

Yes. We start each event at the scheduled time. We recommend you arrive in the area at least 30 minutes prior to the start time to ensure you arrive on time. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, you will not be able to join the class to avoid disruption to the rest of our guests.. No refunds or class credits are given to late guests.

Where do I park?

There's easy to use permit or metered street parking in the area OR 3 parking garages within a short 3-5 minute walk.

Can I bring my own drinks?

BYOB is not allowed by our liquor license. We do have a full bar with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options for purchase.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are not required but highly recommended in case the class is sold out OR to prevent a small class from being cancelled. We have assigned seating so that if you don't have a reservation but your friends do, you may not be able to sit with them.

What do I need to bring with me to the event?

We provide all the painting supplies you will need: canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron! Wine, beer, mocktails, cocktails, and some snacks are available for purchase.

Is there an age limit for public classes?

Yes. Unless specifically noted on the calendar, the age requirements are 13+ for classes that begin at 6PM or later. 13-17 year olds must attend with a paid adult for evening classes. **You must be 21+ to purchase and consume alcohol.

Do you offer classes for kids or families?

Yes. Check our calendar for family oriented classes where the recommended age is 6+. We are not able to accommodate babies or toddlers in ANY of our public classes including Family Day classes.

Do you host private events?

Yes, we love to help folks celebrate their special day whether it be a birthday, bachelorette, team building, or just for fun! You can request information under the private events tab on our website or email us at stmatthewsky@pinotspalette.com for more information.

I don't have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely and it is easier than you might imagine! Our instructors are professional artists themselves and are well trained in making the painting process simple and enjoyable for painters of all skill levels. Everyone gets step by step instructions at a comfortable pace.

What size of canvas will be used?

Unless otherwise noted, 16x20 inch canvas is used.

Can I bring someone that doesn't want to sign up for a class?

To ensure a fun experience for everyone, we do not allow non-painting guests at public events (except as noted for Family Days). After all our motto is Paint. Drink. Have Fun!

What is your inclement weather policy?

If weather causes us to cancel class, you will receive a class credit for a future date of your choice. If our studio is open and you choose to not come to the event due to inclement weather, you will receive a class credit for a future class good for 30 days if you request the credit at least 4 hours prior to the start of the event.
