Poppies! Come celebrate the remarkable flower that has been an inspiration for 5000 years. Red Poppies were introduced to Georgetown, Texas, 70 years ago after WWI and because of their reseeding nature, they have spread extensively in the area making Georgetown the Red Poppy Capital of Texas.
LIVE INTERACTIVE VIRTUAL CLASS with Ben! This class will not be held in the studio, but we will be streaming LIVE from San Bruno Studio!
Teaming up with Pinot’s Palette San Bruno, John Muir PTA is hosting a special Mother’s Day event to benefit John Muir Elementary School. Gift yourself the creative ‘me’ time or give this beautiful painting to a lucky mom! Please join us on May 1st at 7 pm, so we can virtually paint together and have a great time!
If you cannot attend the event on this date, you can still purchase your ticket, either with materials or link only, and you have 14 days to watch Ben’s demo and complete your painting.

Paint kit includes 16x20 canvas, matching paint and brushes, paper plate palettes, and paper towels. Metal tabletop folding easels are available for additional cost ($15). Please register by April 28 in order for us to make your paint kit in time. Paint kit pickups will start April 19 until the event to avoid paint drying out.
Paint kits will be available for pickup at our neighbors at Grand Leader Deli and we will email you when your kit is ready for pickup:

What is paint and sip?
Paint and sip events combine social drinking with painting. Our paint and sip studio offers beer, wine, and other non-alcoholic beverages. Everyone gets a canvas and follows an artist’s instructions to recreate the featured painting on their own canvas. Paint and sip is not a serious art course – it’s about socializing and having fun.

Do I need to know anything about art?
Not at all. Our artists provide easy, step-by-step instructions to help everyone produce a great finished product.

This is my first time. What should I expect?
Expect a relaxed, fun atmosphere – there’s no pressure to be Van Gogh! We provide everything, including aprons to protect your clothes and a paint-free space for your purse or coat.

What does the cost include?
The cost includes all the art supplies you’ll need and 2-3 hours of painting instruction from an artist.
