Meet Our Artist: Christy
Meet Christy Majano!
Christy Majano is a native San Franciscan. She has been a Creative Arts Educator for over 15 years helping to empower her communities through mural art and art education. Christy graduated School of the Arts H.S. majoring in Visual Arts followed by working as a Muralist at Precita Eyes Muralists working alongside Master Muralist Susan Cervatez on different mural and mosaic projects.
Christy went on to teach a variety of Fine Art classes at several enrichment programs in Oakland. Throughout her profession and community endeavors, she has consistently worked on developing her art skills in her personal free time. Christy also received a B.A. from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Her mission is to bring more art into our community as a way to reconnect with ourselves and recharge from the business of our everyday lives. At Pinot’s Palette, Christy enjoys being able to empower people to create their very own paintings. She lives for that magical feeling in the room that is created when people are feeling a sense of pride, accomplishment, and joy after completing their paintings.
