Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden (Federal Way)
is perfect for plant owners and nature lovers alike. The botanical garden will host workshops on how to care for rhododendron plants and have a “fall color” tour. Fall season is the perfect time to plant, which is why inventory will be marked half-off. There will be food trucks, family activities. Although this event is free and open to the public, you will receive a garden pass for future visits with any purchases over $50 at their plant nursery or visitor center.

**** BURIEN BRAT TROT & OKTOBERFEST **** (Burien)
A fun run that's Bavarian-themed and ends with a micro brew festival? Yes, please!
Burien Brat Trot is a 5k Run/Walk and Kid’s 1k Fun Run through the streets of charming Old Burien.
The Oktoberfest in Town Square Park features a brew festival with local beers, kids’ activities, games such as “Stein Carry”, “Weiner Toss”, “Keg Toss” and live entertainment. There's even a "Root Beer Garden" for all ages.
