When we started Pinot’s Palette in 2009, this was the size of the canvases that we used for all of our classes!
It’s not too large or too small, and is the best size to paint within the 2-3 hour classes that we offer. While we will always be the biggest fans of the 16x20 canvases, as artists we enjoy trying new things!
For years now, we have been playing with other sized canvases, and even a lot of artwork that is created OFF THE CANVAS! From painted wine bottles and wooden signs, to hand-knitted blankets, and more, we’re always offering some fun things on the calendar.
One of our most-loved sized paintings is the 10” by 30” long canvas artwork, and rightfully so!
These longer shapes are modern, aesthetically pleasing, and look great in any space - especially smaller ones!

Our standard 16” x 20” frames come in White, Black, Brown, Silver, Gold; While we love these classic frames and will continue to sell them, we have a limited stock and once they are sold, we will be sticking with the modern frames, so be sure to buy some of our fabulous 16” x 20” original-style frames while you can!
