Date Night in Olathe

How many times do you put hanging out with your spouse to the backseat because something came up? If you are like me, it happens all the time. There are very real benefits to having a date with your other half. First, it keeps the romance alive. I know, it sounds cliche, but it is true. By getting yourself 'date night ready,' you put your relationship in a situation where you are able to flirt and joke, like you did when you were dating. Next, by intentionally going out with each other, you are intentionally creating memories and not just going through your daily to-do list. You are 'disconnecting to reconnect' with your significant other. Thirdly, you are having good time. By laughing with each other and by spending 'quality time' - yes another cliche word- you keep each other as a priority in life. The last one goes along with that priority idea. We married our spouse for a reason and life makes it easy to forget that reason. Date Nights help keep that perspective in check!
