Fundraising Rundown
First up: The KC Zoo
Is nature conservancy and wildlife animals your passion? We will be going to the KC Zoo and having a blast raising money for the animals, $15 per seat will be donated. Please register here, and come to the Zoo (6800 Zoo Dr, Kansas City, MO 64132)! Ages 10 and older welcome. It will be held in the Sun Room, which has its own entrance and is just steps from the Main Gate. Everyone who comes to this event must have a reservation. Would you like to come early and visit the zoo? Print off your reservation and everyone who has one will get a free admittance to the Zoo that day. *this event is not BYO, drinks will be made available to purchase while at the Zoo.
Next: Whole Kids at Whole Foods
How about helping educate children with healthy food habits? This is a FUNdraising event at the Whole Foods in Olathe Tap Room. We are Taking Over the Tap! $10 per seat will be donated back the the Whole Kids Foundation. This program is designed to improve children's nutrition by supporting schools and inspiring families to provide children with fresh, nutritious, whole foods. We accomplish this by providing grants for schools to grow edible gardens or to expand their cafeteria to include salad bars. We also provide educators with nutrition and cooking classes to improve their personal health and inspire their students to do the same. **Please signup at the Whole Foods Customer Service Counter**This event is done on a 10x10 canvas.
Thirdly: Hurricane Harvey
Or is helping survivors rebuild more your cup of tea? Our very own Headquarters Family is located in Houston. Many have been evacuated from their homes. Please join us in Painting it Forward for the many people affected by Hurricane Harvey. 100% of the painting proceeds will go to https://www....-relief-fund. We can do more when "United We Stand" to help those in need.
Next: Remember Betty
Perhaps, helping women who are fighting breast cancer is more your thing. This charity reaches out and helps women who are currently battling breast with everyday needs and necessities. While research is important, this charity sets out to work and help those that have it now and may not be able to wait for the research.
Finally: Wayside Waifs
If none of the above charities pull at your heartstrings, perhaps helping furbabies in the shelter will. We help you paint your pet. All you do is signup for the class, send us a photo, we get it SCANNED onto the canvas and then walk you through how to paint it in. Registration closes for this on Sept 16th.
