What Are Some Ways To Keep To Kids Busy During Quarantine?
Day 30? … 94? … 600? of quarantine here and we’re doing ok… :)
We’re busying ourselves with lots of fun painting classes for our customers, even though our doors are closed for the time being.
Along with some painting and other ways to make art, there are really a lot of fun things for the kids to do to keep busy and even learning during this time at home.
So, What Are Some Ways To Keep To Kids Busy During Quarantine?
** Get Outside!
Though the kiddos can’t get out there and play with their friends, there’s still something to be said for a healthy dose of vitamin D!
Do some gardening together, lay out in the sun, practice some yoga poses, make art with chalk (or maybe play some hopscotch?), and even do a scavenger hunt!

There are tons of great things to make with supplies that you can find at home, AND Pinot’s Palette is making painting time even easier with our special Paint-At-Home kits and classes!
From virtual painting classes to take home kits for the kids, we’re STILL offering a quality service to you, even though we can’t all be together while we make art.
Have a family paint night, make it a date night, keep the kids busy with some art classes, or even celebrate a birthday with a creative event like a painting class!

** Set up a treasure hunt
Treasure hunts are pretty easy and depending on how many items there are, they could last a while.
Hide anywhere from 10 to 20 items around the house or outside to keep kids occupied for a few hours.
** Write a letter
Break out the envelopes, the stamps, pens, and paper. No, we’re not talking e-mails; we’re talking old-fashion snail mail. Write a mail a letter to someone you love, like grandma and grandpa, or a family member who lives far away.
** Watch the beluga whales at the Georgia Aquarium
There’s a beluga whale webcam set up at the Georgia Aquarium, so you can see what your whale friends are up to at anytime.

** Interview each other
Interviewing is an important skill. You and your child can start interviewing each other face-to-face by asking each other questions and taking notes. If your child shows interest, they can take it to another level by calling a grandparent or family member and interviewing them over the phone.
