Artist Spotlight: Courtney Gadrim

Here, at Pinot's Palette, Naperville, we’re lucky to have such an amazing staff! Our artists are talented, friendly, funny, and really good at teaching others how to paint! So many of them have art degrees, so they come from a lot of experience with not only creating art, but also knowing the best ways to instruct others in making some pieces of their own. We proudly state that “anyone can paint” and with the thousands of satisfied customers we’ve seen come through our studio one the years, we continue to stand by that claim. You’ll be surprise at how you can go from a blank canvas to a handmade masterpiece in just a 2-3 hour class, with the step-by-step help of our artists and assistants.
In addition to our artists, our bar tenders are knowledgeable about the wines we serve and able to recommend something for everyone. They’ll help you to select a wine, see your drinks refilled, and can talk to you about the various wines and what they’re all about. *Be sure to keep an eye on our calendar, as we have some great deals on wine and beer, from time to time!
Yes, the members of our team are some of the best people around! They come in with a smile on their faces, ready to help people learn how to paint, and never stop giving help to our customers throughout the class.




We’re proudly featuring one of our artists, Courtney, who is nothing short of amazing, and encompasses all of the traits, mentioned above.
She’s talented, helpful, creative, and one of the best art teachers you could ask for!

Courtney Gadrim is a born and raised Chicago-area artist. She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Art Education.
In addition to painting, Courtney loves to make jewelry! Presently, her focus in jewelry-making consists of items made with wire, resin, beads, and found objects.
Her painting and mixed media work, tends to embrace the human form in a dream-like state.

Courtney's work has been displayed:
-Tidewater Virginia Art Education Association 18th Juried Exhibition at the Hermitage Foundation Museum in Norfolk, VA (2005)
-Charles H. Taylor Arts Center Artists Who Teach Juried Exhibition in Hampton, VA (2005 and 2006)
-Women and Art in the Mantaro Valley Traveling Exhibition in Peru, (2007)
-Pinot's Palette Pop-up Art Show in Naperville, IL (2016)
-As well as at multiple arts and crafts fairs.

Currently, Courtney lives in Elmhurst, IL with her husband, daughter, son, and their two dogs. She instructs a variety of art media to children at the Academy of Music and Art in Westmont. She has been with Pinot's Palette since its opening in December 2013, and has been helping customers, time after time, to paint and believe in themselves as artists! Way to go, Courtney! We love you!

Our October-December classes are some of the MOST POPULAR ones of the whole year, as we offer tons of holiday-themed paintings! We’ve got some amazing Autumn-inspired paintings, ones that would look great, displayed for Thanksgiving and throughout the remainder of Fall! We will also be offering some incredible Christmas/winter holiday ones, SOON! Tell all of your friends and family and bring them along to join in the fun! *Be sure to sign up, ASAP, as classes sell out quickly for many of these special paintings. You’re likely to see Courtney there, whether she’s assisting or your artist for the evening, she’ll help you out with anything you need, and all with a smile on her face and a happiness to help you, in her heart. Be sure to say “hi” and give her and your experience with our studio and your painting class a great review on Facebook or 'Yelp' so that others will come in to enjoy themselves, too.

Bring your significant other in for a unique date night, gather your bffs together for a super fun ‘girls’ night out’, come in with the family to pend time together, or just stop in after work to paint alone, relaxing and enjoying some time to yourself after a long day!
