Here are some tips for hosting a painting and wine event that can help to boost team morale:
(1) Group painting projects.
Instead of having everyone paint their own individual pieces, consider having your employees work together on a group painting project. This can encourage collaboration, communication, and creativity.
(2) Pair employees up.
Pair employees up to work on paintings together. This can help build stronger working relationships between employees who may not normally interact with one another.
(3) Share materials.
Encourage employees to share painting supplies and help each other out when needed. This can promote a sense of teamwork and camaraderie.
(4) Hold a painting competition.
Divide your employees into teams and have them compete against each other to create the best painting. This can be a fun way to encourage teamwork and healthy competition.
(5) Display the finished paintings.
After the event, display the finished paintings in the office or another public space. This can help promote a sense of pride and accomplishment among your employees, as well as showcase their teamwork and creativity.
By incorporating teamwork into your painting and wine event, you can help build stronger working relationships among your employees, foster collaboration, and promote creativity and innovation in the workplace.
Planning a corporate event party requires careful planning and attention to detail to ensure its success.
Here are some tips to help you plan a memorable corporate event:
--- Set clear goals and objectives.
Before you start planning your event, determine what you want to achieve. Are you trying to build team morale, promote networking, or celebrate a milestone? Setting clear goals and objectives can help guide your planning process.
--- Choose the right venue.
Look no further than Pinot’s Palette in Downtown Naperville! We are conveniently located in the heart of the city, can accommodate your group size, and have all of the amenities you need, such as all painting supplies, wine and other beverages, audiovisual equipment, references for catering, and plenty of parking.
--- Plan your event timeline.
Create a timeline for your event that includes all key activities, such as guest arrivals, speeches or information/meetings, and of course the painting instructions.
--- Select a theme.
A theme can help create a cohesive and memorable experience for your guests.
You don’t *have* to create a theme for the event (as painting and wine are already a theme in themselves), but who doesn’t love a good theme party? It may even help you make decisions about music, food, and the painting of your choice if you have a theme to connect everything to AND get your guests into the event even more!
--- Provide food and beverages.
Catering is an essential aspect of any corporate event. Consider the dietary needs of your guests, and provide a variety of food and beverage options that everyone can enjoy.
Whether you choose to have everyone or certain people in the group bring things (potluck style), or go with an outside catering service (we can help you out!), some light bites are always great to pair with drinks!
--- Choose the right entertainment.
Whether it’s a specific type of music or a playlist you’ve created, the right entertainment can help create a fun and engaging atmosphere for your guests.
--- Communicate with guests.
Keep guests informed about the event details, such as the dress code, parking instructions, and any other information they need. This can help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
*** NOTE:
The painting you see in the photo above is from a team building event where there was a ‘Mystery Painting’! The team didn’t know what they were going to create until they arrived at the studio and began to paint along with the instructor. This is another fun way to build communication between coworkers and have a nice surprise in the end!
Let your team show up to see the painting upon arrival OR don’t show them anything about the painting and just let it unfold as everyone paints each stroke!
We love the choice of the dragon and the wolf… Team Dany or Team Jon? Team Stark or Team Targaryen? (If You Know, Your Know) :) This must have made for some wonderful conversations.
