Come Paint A Landscape!
Our customers always ask what are some of the easiest paintings to start with, if you have never painted before. We always suggest a landscape because it’s easy and fun to do, relaxing to try, and can suffer some “mess-ups” because nothing in nature is perfect! It’s just more of a free and open, less-structured way of painting, because there no lines to stay inside and the land changes, daily, so you can change it wherever you want and your painting will still look great!
People are typically skeptical that they can recreate a picture that we are teaching, but they really seem to loosen up and leave, proud of what they created, with our landscape classes. Trees and clouds may look tricky, but think about it: trees are all differently shaped (clouds, too), so if you “mess up”, it’s ok because trees are asymmetrical and chunky and curvy, so no one will know!
