Join Us For A Special ‘Art Therapy’ Class On March 2nd!
Our classes are always full of fun, excitement, wine, and trying something new; We pride ourselves in teaching first-time painters how to paint a picture in just a 2-3 hour class, and as amazing of a concept as that is, there’s so much more to art than just making it.
Taking a break from your busy daily schedule and creating something is a great way to relieve stress, get in touch with your creative side, and make something you can be proud of. A glass or two of wine AND spending time with loved ones are additional de-stressors that pair well with our painting classes, so grab your friends and family and sign up for a class today!
While ANY Of Our Classes Make For An Excellent Experience, We’re Proud To Announce That We’ll Be Offering A Special ‘Art Therapy’ Class For You To Try IN March 2nd!

JOIN US on March 2nd as we paint, ‘Elephantopia’.
The class will be lead by Emily Dubach, an art therapist at 'Good Therapy’. She’s teaming up with Pinot’s Palette to offer this art therapy class, focused on Stress Management.
It’s probably no surprise to learn that making art, like other creative activities, is a proven way to relax and relieve stress.
We’re firm believers in the many benefits of painting and we’re super excited for you and your loved ones to join us for this event!
About the painting:
‘Elehantopia'
Warm. Friendly. Vibrant. Exactly like the tropical teardrop island of Sri Lanka, the inspiration for this wonderfully colorful and festive image. Mix up the colors! Make it your own! Match your decor or make it as eclectic as you like.
This is such a perfect subject for us to paint during this special event, as elephants are considered to be one of the world’s most empathic species.
Have fun painting this wonderful artwork, and remember to make it your own, changing the colors, patterns, or adding an inspirational quote. Have fun getting in touch with your creative side and make something truly special to you.

*** What Is ‘Art Therapy’?
Art therapy is an integrative mental health and human services profession that enriches the lives of individuals, families, and communities through active art-making, creative process, applied psychological theory, and human experience within a psychotherapeutic relationship.
.
Art therapy, facilitated by a professional art therapist, effectively supports personal and relational treatment goals as well as community concerns. Art therapy is used to improve cognitive and sensorimotor functions, foster self-esteem and self-awareness, cultivate emotional resilience, promote insight, enhance social skills, reduce and resolve conflicts and distress, and advance societal and ecological change.
*** What Are The Benefits Of ‘Art Therapy’?
Just some of the many benefits of ‘Art Therapy’ include:
Improved perception: Converting emotions in a visual way may help identify and make connections between emotion and body awareness for patients, which is a strong starting point in many therapeutic approaches.
Integration: Many patients who were unable to describe conflicting and strong emotions verbally found they could bring their feelings together in one image with art therapy.
Regulating emotions and impulses: With the guidance of a trained therapist, patients can learn through creative expression to regulate their emotional instincts and responses, creating opportunities for confidence and self-control.
Behavior adjustment: Art therapy can provide an opportunity to explore behavior and choices in a safe way, giving patients the opportunity to practice alternative responses and behavior.
Personal insight: Many patients are able to work through their own internal voices while working on their art. As they see their thoughts and feelings communicated through their art, they may be able to gain important understanding of their own condition with the help of a therapist
*** Who Can Benefit From ‘ Art Therapy’?
The great thing is that ANYONE can benefit from ‘Art Therapy’!
Kids, Teens, and adults of ALL ages will find some great positive effects from this creative form of therapy, so read up on it, even more, to see how it can help you and your loved ones!
