Pinot's Palette in Naperville, IL, is looking forward to "Painting it Forward" during Naperville Gives Day.Naperville Gives Day will take place on October 21st. It is an innovative fundraising event that encourages individuals to donate as much money as possible in support of local charities in just 24 hours through www.NapervilleGives.org. It was started in 2014 by two local charities: Naperville CARES and I Support Community. You can help support Naperville Gives when you attend our Candy Skies painting on October 21st at 7 p.m.Naperville Gives garnered almost $4,000 in donations in the first year in support of over a dozen local nonprofits. There are now over 20 local charities registered to participate. The goal this year is to attract 1,000 donors and raise over $10,000 to support vital charitable services in our area.Marion Ruthig, founder and executive director of I Support Community said, “We are excited to partner with other nonprofits across the area to see how much we can raise to serve our community.”Beginning at midnight CST on October 21 and continuing until 11:59 p.m. CST, Naperville area residents will go online to www.NapervilleGives.org, connect with causes and make tax-deductible donations to support the important work of local charities. All online donations made on www.NapervilleGives.org during Naperville Gives day will go directly to support each charity’s mission.
