Create A ‘Thankful Tree’ This Thanksgiving!
It’s the time of year when we stop and remind ourselves of all the things we have to be thankful for. Our friends and family, homes and jobs, and food on the table. We have a whole day dedicated to eating delicious food and spending time with beloved guests.
This year, why not try a new way of showing how thankful you are?! Create this simple, one of a kind, ‘Thankful Tree’, and keep all of your blessings close in mind AND sight!
Crafted with a few, simple and inexpensive supplies from the store, this idea is easy to create! It can be made in a color scheme to match your home or Autumn decor, and have items added to match your style. This is also a good project for the kids to help with, giving it an extra special touch!
You can have everyone in your household, fill out their ‘thankful leaves’ and leave them out, all month long, or wait until Thanksgiving day and get all of your guests to contribute to filling out the tree with their own thankful leaves!
Add in some additional foliage like berries, pinecones, or real leaves, for a fuller arrangement. Choose a fun vase (check the thrift store for a great buy!), and even add a lovely bow around the middle or top of the vase, for extra flare. Have fun, making this tree special and meaningful to you and it’ll likely become an annual tradition!
