(4) Tour A Winery.
Fall days and good wine go hand in hand, so why not try out a bunch of new wines to see which one will become your new favorite for the season! Taste a variety, buy some bottles for your home and early holiday gifts, and have a whole lot of fun on the tour as you learn a lot about wine and the grapes from which they come.

(5) Go Apple Picking.
Walk through orchards and select a wide range of apples to use, all season long! Kept in the refrigerator, apples can last for months so pick some ripe and juicy apples to keep on hand. Make everything from cider to apple pie, candied apples, pies, and more with nature’s sweet treat, and the fruit that embodies the Fall, best.
(6) Go For A Hike.
Get some steps in and explore parts of our hometown you've never seen. There are so many gorgeous, natural landmarks around the area so be sure to take advantage of the nice weather and go for hike! Bring friends and family along for company and to share in a great experience. Pack a lunch and stop for a picnic at the loveliest of places you find on your walk.

(7) Drink Some Spiced Apple Cider.
There is simply nothing better than a warm mug of apple cider in Autumn. The scent, alone, is enough to bring back some great memories and the taste will bring you comfort and so much flavor. Take advantage of the dozens of recipes out there (some can be made in large batches and some in the slow-cooker) and find the one that’s best for you!

(8) Get Lost In A Corn Maze.
Head in then have fun, finding your way back out! This season, corn mazes are huge, including everything from a leisurely Fall stroll, to a tricky mental puzzle, or some heart-racing Halloween-themed fun!
(9) Rent A Cabin.
Take a mini vacation on a long weekend (Columbus weekend will be here soon) and gather the gang together to spend time in a cabin. You can travel as near of far as you’re able and look for the type of scenery you want for the perfect getaway. Woods, lakes, mountains, and beaches… there are cabins to rent in any surrounding you want so check local campgrounds, Airbnb, and other sources to find the right place for your stay.
(10) Jump In A Pile Of Leaves.
Go back to the days when Dad would rake a huge pile of leaves and call you out to jump in it! Sure, we’re old enough now to be the ones who do the raking, but it can be tons of fun to revisit our carefree ways and get a little crazy as we dive into a colorful pile of leaves. If you have children, carry on the tradition and teach them your ways… let the whole family run and jump into the leaves and throw them around, making some amazing memories!
*This experience would make for some stellar photos, so consider making this fun, family play time an impromptu photo shoot!
(11) Enjoy An Apple or Pumpkin Pie.
Whether you pay a visit to your local bakery or dig up an old family recipe, there’s nothing like a warm piece of pie this season (a la mode, anyone?)!
