It’s YOUR Art… Do It YOUR Way!
Sure, to the average person, the words of the top art critics hold a high value in truth and voucher, but really... who are they to say what is and isn’t art?
Here, at Pinot’s Palette, we believe that art is defined differently by every individual. To us, art is something that makes you FEEL… it evokes deep thoughts and emotions. Art is something that speaks to the creator or the observer in some way. We love the idea of art being defined by everyone in their own way; It’s what makes it so great! When you attend one of our classes, you’re encouraged to create your work of art, however you want! In our public classes, we’ll walk you through the painting for the day, where everyone will be creating the same one. Our instructor will tell you the steps as they paint along with you, but remember it’s YOUR masterpiece; you decide how you want to make it and then do it!
When you paint, even if it’s your first time and you’re perhaps wondering if you can even do it, remember that truly anyone can paint! Every amazing artist had to start somewhere and you’ll be amazed at how we’ll take you from blank canvas to masterpiece in just a few hours! Some of our favorite paintings have been the ones where our customers steer away from making theirs exactly like the instructor's (and the rest of the class’s for that matter…). We appreciate the ones who get into their creative zone and just have fun with their painting! Making a handmade work of art doesn’t have to require years of experience and training; it’s all about putting yourself into something and seeing what comes out! If you love the painting selection but want to change the colors to fit your personal taste or your home's style, go for it! If you’re enjoying painting along with the class but prefer your landscape be a winter theme, rather than a summer one, do it! There is no right or wrong in our classes. We want you to relax, sip some wine, hang out with friends, listen to music, and let it all move you. See what can happen with the help of a creative environment (and a little wine…).

We truly hope that everyone who comes through our door enjoys themselves during this unique, creative experience. Try not to get too stressed if you’re painting doesn’t look like the artist instructor’s… that a GOOD thing! Add your own, personal touch to anything you create to make it a truly unique, one of a kind, personal masterpiece! You’ll get so much out of the experience (and so many compliments from others in the class), if you throw caution to the wind, and go with what feels good when you’re painting! Have fun exploring the endless colors, shapes, and styles of art. Dig deep into yourself and see what you find. Who knows, painting might just turn out to be a hidden outlet you never knew you had. It's something to relive stress, promote creativity, and could be a catalyst for the next chapter of your life….
Whatever you get out of a painting and wine class at Pinot’s Palette will be positive, as new experiences are always a good thing, no matter the outcome. To try something different and gain more knowledge in this world, always promotes personal growth and you’re better off for having tried something new.
