Celebrate Like No Bunny’s Business! Unique Ideas To Try This Easter
Easter is a time for family to come together and enjoy the festivities of the season. We’ve got some great ideas (and some fun artwork) for you this year!This beautiful Spring holiday celebrates new life, renewal, and hope. Whether you celebrate Easter through traditional religious practices or simply enjoy the holiday as a time to gather with family and friends, it is a time to reflect on the beauty and joy of the season.
If you're looking for fun activities to do with your family this Easter, there are plenty of options to choose from.
****** Here are some NEW Easter traditions to try this year ******
---> Plant an Easter Garden: Instead of the traditional Easter basket, consider planting an Easter garden. You can fill a pot with soil and add spring flowers, Easter lilies, or even herbs for a fun and fresh twist on the holiday.
---> Easter Scavenger Hunt: Instead of a traditional Easter egg hunt, create a scavenger hunt with clues that lead to the Easter basket. It's a fun way to keep everyone entertained and engaged.
---> Easter Movie Night: Host an Easter-themed movie night with family and friends. You can watch classics like It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown, or modern films like Hop or Peter Rabbit.
---> Easter Bonnet Parade: Host an Easter bonnet parade where everyone wears a festive and fun hat. You can have prizes for the best hats, and it's a fun way to show off your creativity.

*** Egg Tapping: A tradition in some countries where two people tap their hard-boiled eggs together and the egg that doesn't break is declared the winner.
*** Easter Water: A tradition in some Eastern European countries where people collect water from rivers or springs on Easter morning, believed to have healing properties.

---> Decorating Pysanky Easter Eggs
In the photo above you’ll see the stunning decorated eggs, another tradition you can try for Easter! These come from the Ukrainian Easter tradition of decorating Easter eggs known as ‘pysanky'. Decorating them has become a gesture of peace, as the war has brought new meaning to an old tradition that dates back to pre-Christian times.
Some people put egg shells in cattle feed to make the cattle stronger or put them in gardens to enhance the harvest. Putting an egg at each of the four corners of a house is supposed to bring good luck
Make some of these eggs with the whole family!
While the traditional eggs are made using dye, beeswax, and kistkas (a stylus with a small reservoir and funnel, used to hold and apply melted beeswax onto eggs), you can make them with things you have around the house!
Do a lesson with the kids about Ukrainian eggs and their origin and show them some examples.
Use egg dye, markers, stickers, wash tape, and more to make intricate and colorful designs to create something truly lovely.
TIP: Use artificial eggs to make them last forever and display them year after year.
