Halloween Candy Cocktail Recipes!
What’s one of the best things about Halloween?.....CANDY! I know everyone said in their heads “the parties” but what if we can do a little of both? We never grow out of our love of Halloween candy. There’s no age in which a peanut butter cup, sour patch kids or candy corn is not acceptable. However, what about adding a dash or ten of alcohol to our tried and true favorite Halloween candies. Ahhhhh….. The best of both worlds! Here are a few cocktail recipes that will make your party a hit. These recipes are also simple enough to bring along the next time you come to paint, drink and have fun with us!PEANUT BUTTER CUP-TINI
Ingredients:
2 ounces of vodka, 4 ounces of peanut butter cup creamer and chocolate sauce.
Directions:
Pour vodka and creamer into a shaker with ice. Shake until chilled. Rim a martini glass with chocolate sauce. Pour chilled vodka and creamer into the martini glass and garnish with a peanut butter cup.
PEPPERMINT PATTIES
Ingredients:
2 ounces of white chocolate liqueur, 2 ounces of white Crème de Menthe, 1 ounce of green Crème de Menthe and chocolate syrup.
Directions:
Combine white Crème de Menthe and white chocolate liqueur into a shaker and chill. Pour ingredients over ice and float the green Crème de Menthe on top. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
CANDY CORN MARTINI
Ingredients:
3 ounces of vanilla vodka, ¾ cup of candy corn and 1 ounce of Grand Marnier.
Directions:
Infuse vanilla vodka with the gummy bear flavor by soaking gummy bears in vanilla vodka for 1 to 2 hours. Strain out the candy corn. Combine the candy corn vanilla vodka, Grand Marnier and pour into a shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled. Pour into a martini glass and serve.
WHISKEY KID
Ingredients:
1 small bag of Sour Patch Kids, 4 ounces of lemonade, 2 ounces of whiskey, a splash of simple syrup and cherry juice.
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and serve over ice. Garnish with a couple of Sour Patch Kids.
GUMMY BEAR SANGRIA
Ingredients:
1½ cups of Gummy Bears, 2 cups of vodka, 1 bottle of white wine, 1 cup of apple juice, ½ cup of seltzer water, 2 large apples, sliced and a lime.
Directions:
Place your gummy bears is a container and pour in enough vodka just enough to cover. Let the gummy bears sit at room temperature for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Strain the vodka. In a large pitcher combine your boozy bears, strained vodka, white wine, apple juice, 1/2 cup seltzer water, apples, and juice of a lime. Stir and serve over ice. Garnish with a lime wedge or skewer a few of your gummy bears and add to your cocktail.
