Bring Spring Indoors!

Spring is THE BEST season! Spring brings out the best in just about everyone. This time of year is often thought of as the period when we feel most positive. With more daylight hours we are less drossy throughout the day and often socialize more with our friends. Having Happy Hour with your friends seems a little more do-able when you still feel like there’s some day left to live! Going for a walk with your dog or sitting at one of the beautiful parks is enjoyable in Houston in spring! We love going to our local nurseries and dreaming of how beautiful our yard will look once we plant these beautiful Peonies, Lilacs, and Daisies. We then walk outside each morning to diligently watch each step of sprouting and blooming and smile like the proud flower parents we are! All of these are reasons spring makes us happy! However; all of these reasons are outside so let’s bring them in! Let’s open up a window and enjoy the beautiful spring breeze and add some flowers indoors too! We all know that flowers bring happiness to any room in our house. We see them at the market and buy them over and over for just a moment of “YAY!”. We can have that “YAY!” all the time with a piece of art done by you! Instead of throwing your spring flowers away weekly, create your permanent spring joy. Some of Pantone’s hot colors for spring include “Meadowlark”- a lively bright yellow, “Blooming Dahlia”- a subtle peach color, and “Arcadia”- a slightly retro turquoise tone. Any of these fresh new colors would pair very nicely with these lovely paintings.
