What Do I Wear To Paint At Pinot's Palette?
What should you wear to a paint and sip event? The short answer – something you’re willing to get paint on. Not everyone wants to wear overalls and a train conductor hat while mingling with co-workers, starting off girls’ night out or enjoying a date night with your significate other. We still want to look cute or at least paint-ready chic so here are a few ideas:
Leave the cashmere at home! Although we want to look good, we need to leave the fine linens at home. Anything that is expensive, precious or made from DoDo bird feathers, you might not want to risk having paint on it. Try not to wear a shirt that would break your heart if its new job became to polish furniture.
Embrace the paint! Wear that shirt you were about to donate anyway, and maybe you can convince your significate other to wear that shirt you’ve tried to hide 57 times. You could also designate a painting outfit. Wear it each time you come and let the paint be your battle scars, a rainbow of memories!
Theme it up! Why not take it back to the 80’s when the splatter paint and neon colors reigned and were simply rad! Have your friends, partner, bachelorettes or mother and daughter duo come in a get-up that is totally awesome. Paint can only make it better. Also, Bob Ross party anyone? Grab your afro wigs and learn to say, “Fluffy little cloud” or “Just a happy little tree.” Bob would want you to get a little paint on you.
We understand that you may not always have the time or opportunity to plan what you will be wearing. Maybe you are coming from work or have a big night ahead of you. We have plenty of aprons to keep you covered. If you notice the paint on you, we will do all that we can to help you remove it as well. We know spills and dropped brushes happen so plenty of water and soap can help. We also provide cubbies for purses, jackets and other items to stay safely away from the paint.
Sometimes a little paint on the face makes for a perfect photo opportunity anyway. Join us at Pinot’s Palette to Paint, Drink and Have Fun!
