At Pinot's Palette our goal is to bring art to the masses. A lot of times people comment that art "speaks" to them. Each person may hear something different. Our Saturday class is creating "Travels in Love" which is always a favorite. The title for this painting is very accurate, but by hearing it first - it can change your interpretation. At first glance, it spoke to a colleague of mine, and she heard tranquility, comfort. It reminded her of growing up on a lake, which conjured up memories and feelings of family and feeling complacent and calm.My first glance, reminded me of tubbing in the river with a tub of beer- to each their own!
