The UI Health Community Clinic Network (UCCN) invites you to
Paint & Sip with a Purpose
To support services for people living with HIV.
This year, UI Health Community Clinic Network (UCCN) is joining TPAN for this year’s Ride for Life Chicago as Team UCCN. Both UCCN and TPAN provide health care and supportive services that impact the lives of more than 3,000 people in Chicago every year.
Please join us in this fun Pain & Sip event!
Pinot’s Palette is donating half of the proceeds to Team UCCN.
UI Health Community Clinic Network (UCCN) has been providing excellent outpatient services to HIV patients at six community-based clinics throughout Chicago since 1992. Our unique program utilizes a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse clinicians, pharmacists, mental health professionals, and outreach workers to offer quality patient-centered care. All patients at UCCN receive compassionate care and services regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. For more information about UCCN, please see the link below. https://hosp...-network-uccn
If you would like to donate directly to UCCN and support the services we provide our client, please go to the following GoFundMe page created by our very own Elena Llinas. Elena Llinas is UCCN’s Quality Control Specialist; as someone who has been living with HIV since 2011, she is passionate about improving the lives and medical care of our clients. 100% of the donations from the GoFundMe page will go to UCCN.
https://www....+share-flow-1 For over 35 years, Test Positive Awareness Network TPAN has provided critical healthcare and social services to people who often have nowhere else to turn. Its innovative programs and clinical services address issues across the lifespan – from providing LGBTQ homeless youth with drop-in services and connection to housing support and medical care, to delivering mental health services for older adults living with HIV. Read more about their great work here.

-
When should I arrive for class?
30 minutes before scheduled start time. Class MUST start at scheduled time to be fair to all who are attending. Please arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time to get settled in, grab a drink from our bar and mingle before the painting starts.
-
How do I sign up for a class?
To reserve a seat for one of our paint parties, click on our home page and scroll through our upcoming events or visit our ‘Event Calendar’ to view our full upcoming calendar of events. Click on the painting of your choice. To reserve a seat, click the ‘Register’ button and follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Please contact us if you have any trouble completing your order. We will help you trouble shoot the issue or simply take your reservation by phone.
-
Is there an age limit for your regular public classes?
We welcome families and children ages 6 years and above for any of our daytime paint parties. While our evening classes that begin after 5 pm are structured for adults, we do allow guests aged 13 – 17 to participate if they are accompanied by an adult. All guests must be at least 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcohol.
-
What should I wear to paint?
No dress code here...dress casual or dress up! We provide all guests with an apron, but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art. Should any acrylic paint get on your clothes, it can typically be washed out within 60 seconds. If allowed to set longer, the paint may be permanent.
-
I don’t have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?
Absolutely! Our paint parties are intended for beginners, but are also fun for more seasoned artists. Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting. You can follow along as much, or as little, as you’d like. Feel free to choose a different color from our paint cart, add in your own detail or paint another image entirely. We encourage creativity and there are no mistakes! Acrylic paint dries quickly, so making changes or perfecting your painting is easy to do.
