During this one-of-a-kind event, we will guide you step-by-step through hand-knitting a warm, soft, chunky knit blanket. No needles or knitting experience is required! YARN WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THIS CLASS, so please bring your own! We recommend 4 skeins of chunky chenille yarn for a 40”x 50” throw blanket. For larger blankets, 5-6 skeins can be used, but keep in mind you are unlikely to finish during the allotted class time. Did you know that Mt. Fuji is actually a Stratovolcano! Not only is it one volcano – it’s three! The mount is three separate volcanoes placed on top of one another. The bottom layer is the Komitake volcano, then the Kofuji volcano, then Fuji, which is the youngest. Mt Fuji is indeed still active. Although, the last time it erupted was in 1707, over 300 years ago!
