A picture perfect day begins and ends on this island of dreams

We are SO excited to see you back in the studio! We have added safety measures to ensure compliance with all Tier 1 Mitigations from the State of Illinois/City of Chicago to ensure your safety and we are ready to go for some good clean fun! The class sizes are limited, and we will seat groups six feet apart. We can accommodate up to 6 people at a table for family/friend groups. OUR BAR IS OPEN!

Masks MUST be worn at all times.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
We encourage our guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to the start time of the paint party to allow time to grab a beverage, get ready to paint and settle in at your table. Our paint parties begin at the scheduled start time.

Paint, drink & have fun with us at Pinot's Palette Logan Square! At our sip and paint parties, guests enjoy a 'no art experience required' paint party & all art supplies are included! You'll be led by our talented local artists who will guide you step-by-step to create the featured painting.

Our paint events are more party than art class. Though our artists will guide you to create the featured painting, this is your masterpiece! You can follow along as much, or as little, as you’d like. Feel free to choose a different color from our paint cart, add in your own detail or paint another image entirely. We encourage creativity!

The more the merrier, INVITE YOUR FRIENDS! We paint, drink and have fun!

We are located at 2768 N. Milwaukee Ave, a half block south of Diversey Avenue and steps from the Blue Line Logan Square L stop (exit towards Spaulding). Coming from the north or south? We're a mile west of I-94 (exit at California from the north, Diversey Ave from the south). Street parking is available all along Milwaukee, Diversey and Kimball Avenues. Most street parking is $2/hr (tip: the Park Chicago app makes paying for parking a breeze). Street parking is free on Sundays.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to the custom nature of our parties and classes, Refunds are not issued for reservation cancellations. Should you need to reschedule your reservation and provide at least 24 hours notice, your reservation will be transferred to a studio credit that can be used only for a future paint party reservation at our Logan Square studio. Please email us at logansquare@pinotspalette.com if you need to cancel. If you 'no-show' for a party or class that you have a spot reserved, or do not give at least 24 hours cancellation notice, you forfeit your reservation payment. By completing the check-out process you agree to this policy.

Dear Chicagoan,

Please be advised that, effective immediately, the State of Illinois has determined that Chicago has made significant enough progress as a region in the fight against COVID-19 to move into Tier 2 Mitigations Measures. Under these Mitigation Measures, which are set by the state, the following regulations are in place:

Non-essential businesses must be closed to the public between the hours of 11:00 pm and 6:00 am

BARS, RESTAURANTS AND OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS with a Tavern or Consumption on Premises-Incidental Activity license can sell alcohol on-site or to-go until 11:00 pm.
Liquor stores, grocery stores and other establishments with a Package Goods license must still cease alcohol sales at 9:00 pm.
Restaurants may continue to sell food via delivery, takeout, or curbside pickup at all hours

RESTARANTS AND BARS
- No indoor service
- Outdoor service allowed, including tables within eight feet of walls that are at least 50% open
- Indoor events of 10 people or fewer can resume if food is served and only in locations that are designated and typically used for private events only (i.e. banquet halls within restaurants)
- Face coverings must be worn at all times except when actively eating and drinking, tables must be six feet apart, and no more than six people per table
- All bars and restaurants must close at 11pm and may reopen no earlier than 6am the following day
HEASLTH AND FITNESS
- 25% capacity indoors
- Group classes of 10 or fewer can resume under the 25% capacity restriction

The full reopening regulations in Chicago will be posted shortly on the City’s website at chicago.gov/reopening. BACP will hold a webinar on the new Mitigation Measures set by the State this Thursday, January 21st, at 2:00 pm. To register and learn more visit chicago.gov/businesseducation.

Please note that Chicago was able to move to Tier 2 Mitigation Measures because the State of Illinois has removed the requirement that regions have greater than 20% capacity in medical/surgical beds. In order to move to Tier 1 Mitigation Measures, which would allow limited indoor dining at 25% capacity and no more than 25 people, Chicago will need to meet the following criteria:
A test positivity rate between 6.5 and 8% for three consecutive days as measured by the 7-day rolling average (currently NOT meeting this metric); AND
Greater than 20% percent available staffed ICU hospital beds for three consecutive days, on a 7-day rolling average (currently meeting this metric); AND
No sustained increase in the number of COVID-19 patients in the hospital in 7 out of the last 10 days, on a 7-day average (currently meeting this metric)

For a full overview of the statewide plan to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, read the Restore Illinois Mitigation Plan below. You can follow Chicago’s continued progress in reaching the metrics that the state has set to continue reopening, please visit IDPH’s website. As always, please respond to this email with any questions!

Frequently Asked Questions

Check out our FAQs to learn more about what to expect from your Pinot's Palette experience or feel free to call the studio to speak to a member of our staff.

  • When should I arrive for class?

30 minutes before scheduled start time. Class MUST start at scheduled time to be fair to all who are attending. Please arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time to get settled in, grab a drink from our bar and mingle before the painting starts.

  • How do I sign up for a class?

To reserve a seat for one of our paint parties, click on our home page and scroll through our upcoming events or visit our ‘Event Calendar’ to view our full upcoming calendar of events. Click on the painting of your choice. To reserve a seat, click the ‘Register’ button and follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Please contact us if you have any trouble completing your order. We will help you trouble shoot the issue or simply take your reservation by phone.

  • Is there an age limit for your regular public classes?

We welcome families and children ages 6 years and above for any of our daytime paint parties. While our evening classes that begin after 5 pm are structured for adults, we do allow guests aged 13 – 17 to participate if they are accompanied by an adult. All guests must be at least 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcohol.

  • What should I wear to paint?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up! We provide all guests with an apron, but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art. Should any acrylic paint get on your clothes, it can typically be washed out within 60 seconds. If allowed to set longer, the paint may be permanent.

  • I don’t have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our paint parties are intended for beginners, but are also fun for more seasoned artists. Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting. You can follow along as much, or as little, as you’d like. Feel free to choose a different color from our paint cart, add in your own detail or paint another image entirely. We encourage creativity and there are no mistakes! Acrylic paint dries quickly, so making changes or perfecting your painting is easy to do.
