Smash and Twirl Art Tips for Non Artists

Ever wondered how our artists make those perfect circles when they create their masterpieces? In this painting tip video, we take share the mystery of the magic with this fun and easy smash and twirl art tip. In less than a minute, you'll be painting perfect circles at your next paint and sip party.

Here are the step by step instructions. Pay very close attention to step #3!

Step 1: Grab a canvas.
Step 2: Place some paint on a palette (a paper plate will do just fine) and pull out a flat tip paint brush.
Step 3: Most important... DO NOT forget the wine! Pour yourself a glass.
Step 4: Use your paint brush as a shovel and scoop up paint with one side of the brush
Step 5: Press down and twirl!
Step 6: Take a step back and admire your perfect circle.
Step 7: Go ahead, give that circle some friends and make a few more.
Step 8: Pat yourself on the back, Picasso! Better yet, sip your wine and smile.

You've now mastered the Smash and Twirl brush stroke!

Additional Tips:
Want to add some texture to your perfect smash and twirl circle? Just add more paint!
Need to make a larger circle? Press a little more firmly when you twirl.
