100+ Years of Wisdom
I was listening to a radio interview several years ago of a man who studied centenials. He was looking for a commonality amongst them; what makes for a long and fulfilling life? His conclusion surprised me. Ritual.
Each centennial had a ritual habit, a quiet cup of tea every morning or a glass of brandy in their evening chair with a friend to listen and speak to. Some of the rituals weren't what I would think of as a particularly healthy choice, but they were all of a reflective nature. I think this generation and this country crave that quiet, reflective moment to look forward to each day.
Do you have a reflective moment built into each day to promote your health and life longevity? What or who reminds you to take those moments? Perhaps a reminder painting would do the trick. ;)
Until we meet (or meet again) all happiness and long life to you and yours!
Cheers!
