Artist Spotlight: Brittnee & Planet Comicon!

Pinot’s Palette Leawood studio manager by day……….Art Instructor by night…….. if you’ve been to our studio—chances are you know her! Artist Brittnee Catlin has been with our studio going on 6 years (we like to round up) and counting for many years ahead. Brittnee has been an integral reason for the success of our Leawood studio. Brittnee loves to get to know our customers while instructing paint parties and encouraging painters find that creative spark within. As a Pinot’s Palette artist, not only does she enjoy connecting with our customers, she also enjoys creating some of the paintings scheduled on our calendar each month.

When asked what she does for a living, she likes to refer to herself as a “Professional Creative.” Brittnee is continually on the go with ideas bursting at the seams on what she can create next. Not only does she create paintings for the Pinot’s Palette library, she enjoys creating her own portfolio of original works when she goes home too. For this month’s side project, she has been preparing for Kansas City’s Planet Comicon.

Planet Comicon KC is a 20 year and counting galactic adventure with hundreds of creators and vendors for you to peruse and collect treasures. They also have celebrity actors and creators on site to meet and greet with too. At this event, Brittnee will have her own booth under her business titled ‘StarStuff Studios.’ If you plan to attend the event Friday, March 29 – Sunday, March 31 at Bartle Hall make sure to stop and say hello at her booth number #727!
