Frequently Asked Questions
What is your capacity for your public classes?
IMPORTANT CLASS INFORMATION: For your continued safety and comfort, class sizes are being limited to 70% capacity. (This allows for 50 seats in our main room and up to 24 seats in our party room.) If you purchase multiple seats in your reservation or request to sit with someone in the seating requests, you will be seated together with your group and we will seat groups of 5 or more at their own private table. Due to the limited seating, all guests must have a reservation to enter the studio. Masks are no longer required to be worn in the studio, however we recommend mask wearing if you are not fully vaccinated. PLEASE NOTE: We have acrylic dividers available if you wish to have additional separation between you and other guests. Please ask or note in your reservation if you would like to have an acrylic divider available to you.
What type of cleaning and seating protocols has your studio implemented since COVID-19?
The cleaning practices include: 1. Aprons will only be worn once, then laundered. 2. Seating of groups 6 feet apart 3. All surfaces, glassware, utensils, art supplies will be sanitized after each use. 4. We require all guests to wear masks.
Is there an age limit for the regular public class?
Yes, we are a BYOB art entertainment studio. We do have kid’s specific classes, but the normal public classes have the following requirements: -11 to 17 years old with an adult -18 years old and up. Any of our morning or afternoon classes are ages 6 and older with adult supervision. In all of our classes, with the exception of little brushes classes, a reservation is required for all attendees to attend.

What is the cancellation policy?
Due to the custom nature of our classes, ALL reservation sales are FINAL. However, if you need to change your painting reservation with more than 24 hours notice, you can receive credit to use within 45 days or you may transfer to another class that we have posted on our calendar. If it is less than 24 hours notice, loss of reservation will occur. Please email Leawood@PinotsPalette.com with any questions. For all PRIVATE PARTY deposits, there is a 2 week prior notice required to cancel. If it's less than that, the deposit will be forfeited, or you can move the party with at least a weeks' notice. However, if you need to change your reservation with more than 10 days notice, you can receive credit to use within 45 days to transfer towards another specialty class we have posted on our calendar.
I don't have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?
Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.
Can I bring something other than wine? Will there be something to chill white wine in?
You are welcome to bring wine, beer or liquor to Pinot's Palette. There will be a large ice bucket to chill your wine during class. We do expect all painters to be responsible with alcohol on and off premises. We will be checking IDs.
Is there reserved seating?
Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (…just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice).
