Fall into Creativity
By nature, if Springtime symbolizes “rebirth,” then Fall has to be the rejuvenation of creativity. Labor Day weekend usually marks the last weekend of summer, although September has proven to have plenty more hot days to offer. Around here, kids are a few weeks into the school year, football has officially begun and you know the sale of the season’s first pumpkin spice latte has already reached the hands of every hipster, soccer mom and female in between. There are so many things to get excited about as the summer season comes to a close, and the thing I like best is seeing a recharge in people as the get excited for the crisp weather and upcoming holidays. I see it in our artists. Our email inboxes become flooded from our artists with new sketches for brightly colored, warm paintings, it’s hard to figure out which one to schedule first on our calendar. It’s always exciting to see this rejuvenation in our artists, but it’s pretty incredible to see our customers break out of their creativity shell and let their brush take the lead.
So as an art studio that prides itself in bringing ‘art to the masses,’ let us help you break out of your summer funk and rejuvenate the creativity that has been suppressed by soccer games, lake trips and standing on the side of the pool yelling at your kids not to splash in the face. Creativity is the “pumpkin” spice of life. It’s not something that will always be there, but you will crave it. And when you finally get your ‘fix,’ it tastes so good!
