Is there a minimum to sign up?

No. You can register for yourself, a small or large group! There is however a class number minimum. Due to the nature of our classes, if the class minimum of 4 persons is not met, we will reschedule the class, and you'll receive a credit to use for any future event. Specialty classes and camp policy minimum along with notice of cancellation will be listed in the class details.

Food & Beverage Information

You are welcome to bring in food for yourself or your group. Let us know if you need paper plates- plastic ware or napkins. The City of Elmhurst does not allow BYOB. We have a bar in studio with Beer, Wine, Cocktails, Soft Drinks, Coffee, and tea. Please bring valid ID to purchase from our bar. Is there an age limit for your regular public classes?

Yes, we are an art entertainment studio and our evening classes are geared towards adults. We do have kid’s specific classes for children, teen only events and family classes available. All Adult public events are ages 14+. "Little Brushes" public events are for ages 6+. All guests must be at least 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcohol.

What is the Cancellation/ Class Credit policy?

Due to the custom nature of our parties and classes, reservations are NON REFUNDABLE. Should you need to reschedule your reservation for any reason and provide 24-HOUR EMAIL NOTICE, your reservation will be transferred to a studio credit that can be used only for a future event, or take home kit. 🟣📧MUST EMAIL Elmhurst@PinotsPalette.Com 🟣 We do not accept reschedule notice within 24 hours of your event. 🟡If you 'no-show' for a party or class, or do not provide least 24 hours cancellation notice via E-Mail, you forfeit your reservation payment. 🟢FOR CANCELATION OF A PARTY 3 OR MORE, a minimum of 4 DAYS notice is required. 🟠Exceptional cases for refunds must be approved by studio owner for the class transaction amount minus 20% to cover administrative labor and merchant fees associated with card transactions. 🔵 * No Credits on: Take Home Paint Kits, Video Kits, Partnership events, or Live Virtual Events.**

When should I arrive for class?

We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before class starts to allow time to get settled in, grab a drink and mingle before the painting starts.

How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Click the "VIEW THE EVENT CALENDAR" link on the home page to view our calendar of paintings. Select which painting you would like to paint and click "Register." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us at 630-359-4500 if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

Is there parking near your studio?

3-hour street parking is available around our studio. There is also a free 3 hour parking garage 1/2 block North of our studio at 255 Elmhurst (entrance is next to shell gas station. )

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, please let us know when you make your reservation or you can send us an email - just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice.

What should I wear to paint?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We provide all guests with an apron, but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art!

How do I get my supplies for a Virtual Painting event?

Your supplies will be available for pickup on the 2 days listed on your class registration page. You can request an earlier pick-up day/time by emailing Anam at Elmhurst@PinotsPalette.com (Current available Pick-Up Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 1-5:30 PM))

Do I need a reservation to attend a class?

Reservations are not required but highly encouraged. If there is available seating and you don't have a reservation, please arrive 20 minutes early so we can get you set up.

What do I need to bring to class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are appetizers or snacks you might want to enjoy! We have an in studio bar with wine, beer, mixed drinks, soft drinks, and juice. We supply paper plates, napkins, and plasticware.

I don’t have any artistic talent? Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.

Do you have sanitizing stations?

Yes, we have plenty of hand sanitizer around the studio and a sinks in the front room where you can wash your hands.
