Drink, Then Decorate!
If you love wine as much as we do, you may just go through a few bottles, here and there…
While recycling them is always a great (and responsible) thing to do, sometimes it’s fun to reuse old things in a new way!
We’ve found some great ideas for up-cycling wine bottle and corks that are easy for anyone to do and they cost next to nothing as they’re made from empty wine bottles! Make them for you to use, to give out as gifts to loved ones, or just as a rainy day project for you and the family to make.

- Coasters
These DIY cork coasters are an easy and fun eco-friendly way to turn your love for wine into something awesome! Protect your countertop in style with a bunch of these cork coasters! These can be many in a variety of ways and are super practical for your home!

- Key chains
These adorable (and useful) keychains can be created in a bunch of different ways! Make a bunch to give out as gifts, as a handmade gift from the heart is always a great way to go.

- Candle Holders
Add some ambience and show off those corks with those easy-to-make candle holder. Place them around the house or place them on the dinner table for a lovely centerpiece.

- Vase

*** WAYS TO REUSE WINE BOTTLES ***
- Tiki Torches
These DIY tiki torches are easy to make. You do need the tiki wick, metal fittings, and oil for the torch. You will also need aquarium gravel to stabilize the bottom of the bottle. Fill the bottle with oil when you are ready. Assemble the tiki torch wick with the metal fittings and place it in the bottle with the gravel.

- Bird Feeder: This adorable bird feeder starts with a hole drilled in a wine bottle. This can be challenging at first, but most experienced DIYers should be able to do it without too much trouble. Attach a hanging wire to the top of the bottle and a tray for seeds at the bottom.

- Cheese Tray
Melt down a wine bottle (it’s not as hard as you might think) and serve cheese, fruits, and crackers on it, OR use it as a candle holder or spoon rest. Set it up on display as a for of art, anywhere in your home! This piece is really fun to look at, makes a great gift, and can be used in a variety of ways!
