Picnic-Perfect Snacks for Your Next Outdoor (*or indoor) Painting Sessions
Planning your own paint and sip picnic with Pinot's Palette, Brier Creek, is simple. Grab a blanket, pack a basket with these easy bites, and join us for a virtual event OR a paint-at-home option. We provide the brushes, paints, and step-by-step instruction—so you can relax, snack, sip, and create.
Keep in mind our virtual options where you can paint from anywhere with a set up of your own.... AND our 'paint-at-home' options are very similar in that you get to paint with your own materials (*or we can provide them), create any artwork you want, and do so at the time and place of your choosing!
But what’s the perfect food to bring when you’re balancing brushes and canvases? You’ll want snacks that are easy to share, not too messy, and pair well with your favorite sip.
Here are some picnic-perfect snack ideas to elevate your next outdoor, OR Indoor, painting session with Brier Creek, Raleigh...
Whether it's a private event or public!
1. Fresh Fruit & Cheese Skewers
Think of these as charcuterie boards on a stick. Combine cubes of cheddar or gouda with grapes, strawberries, or melon on skewers. They’re easy to handle with one hand (leaving your painting hand free!) and look just as artistic as your canvas.
2. Mini Sandwich Wraps
Instead of full-sized sandwiches, roll up tortillas with turkey, hummus, or roasted veggies, then slice into bite-sized pinwheels. They pack neatly in a cooler and won’t leave crumbs or sticky fingers behind.
3. Crunchy Veggie Cups
Fill small cups with carrots, celery, and bell peppers, then add a dollop of ranch or hummus at the bottom. Portable, colorful, and refreshing—it’s like painting with your snacks!
4. Dark Chocolate & Nuts
For a touch of indulgence, pack a small container of dark chocolate squares and almonds or cashews. It’s the perfect treat when you take a step back to admire your masterpiece.
5. Sparkling Sips
Whether you prefer sparkling water, lemonade, or your favorite wine, a chilled beverage adds to the festive vibe. At Pinot’s Palette Raleigh–Brier Creek, we love seeing guests bring their favorite pairings to enjoy alongside their painting experience. Pinot's Palette is NOT a BYOB studio. When coming to our studio we have a large assortment of Beer, Wine and Cider. Outside Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
