Paint. Drink. Get Engaged!
Recently, one of our guests, Lawerence, proposed to his girlfriend, Andande! They attended one of our classes, titled, ‘Listen To Your Dreams’ and what an appropriate title for the painting and the night!!! The couple, sat in the class for the first hour and a half, painting along with the instructor, listening to some great music, sipping some beverages, and having a wonderful night. Towards the end of the class, one of our artists took Andande’s painting to be dried as she sat and waited for it’s return. When the painting was placed in front of her again, there was one change that had been made to it: On top of the colorful sky, the words, ‘Will You Marry Me?’ were written in a lovely font for her to read with tearful eyes.
She was incredibly, pleasantly surprised and of course, said ”YES!”.

The entire night was inspired, right down to the name and theme of the painting, and once again, we were awe-struck by the romantic proposal and incredibly happy for the bride and groom to be!

If you’re looking to plan a romantic, happy, exciting, unique, and fun event at our studio, you can do so in several ways. You can attend a public class where you’ll create the painting of the eventing with other people (like our happy couple did for their engagement), or you can rent out the space for a painting party, just for you and your guests of choice!
*If you’re coming in for our PUBLIC CLASSES and you want to do something special for someone who’s attending the class with you, just let us know ahead of time and we’re glad to help any way we can! From having the whole class sing the happy birthday song to your friend, wishing someone a happy anniversary or retirement over the mic, or even something as extravagant as a proposal, we’re here to help you plan that magical moment and make it perfect for that special someone!
*If you choose to book a PRIVATE EVENT with us, you get to be in charge of how it goes! You select everything from the date and time of the class to the painting, food, music selections, and more! You can request information for your event and get the ball rolling through the link at the bottom of the page, and feel free to call or email us, too! You can decorate the studio, plan games, and bring in some yummy food, yourself, or have it catered from your favorite spot! Remember that however you wish to create your event, you get it!
*In addition to our private parties, where you can celebrate a birthday, bridal shower, bachelorette party, retirement, family reunion, class reunion, and more, we also offer another type of private party: A CORPORATE EVENT. These private parties are loved by business leaders, all over, and have been successful in so many ways for their office and staff’s needs, as we’ve been told!
There are a few, great ways to utilize these events:
1- You can bring everyone together, solely to have fun in a creative environment as they connect, outside of the office and work together on their paintings, bonding over the experience. We have a lot of businesses book these types of work parties with us for their annual holiday party, after the team does a great job in meeting some goals, or as an employee appreciation day!
2- You can bring potential clients in for a class and they get to you know you and your team with this unique and creative painting experience where the business talk can be casual, OR you can work a sales pitch or speech into your party (perhaps at the beginning, before you paint!). Impress your future clients with this unique painting experience, letting them know that you're a great company with a team that takes care of it's clients, while having a lot of fun!
3- You can bring the whole crew in to work together in for a ’team building event', where we offer a very interesting and different styles of classes that encourage your employees to work together to complete them.
Some of the ways you can incorporate a painting and wine class into a team building activity:
-A collaborative painting where everyone work together on a large canvas or a collection of large canvases, to create one large piece of artwork that everyone came together and helped to create!
-A puzzle painting where each person (or group of people, depending on the way you'd like to go...) will paint a section of the overall painting and at the end of the class, all of the canvases get pushed together to form one whole painting!
(*This tends to be one of our most popular corporate selections, especially if you have a large, blank wall in the office that needs some artwork!) There's something so incredible about individuals working together to each create one small piece of an overall masterpiece!
