Pinot’s Palette, On The News!
Pets are the best! They’re always happy to see us, never get tired of us, give their love freely and love us, unconditionally. They sit with us as we cry, wag for us when we’re happy, and make us feel safe and calm.
If you’re a pet owner, you know what we’re talking about here...
Missing them when we’re away from home, feeding them way too many treats, and (admittedly…or secretly) talking to them in a special, cutesy voice. They bring as much joy into our lives as we hope we bring into theirs and there is such a great happiness that goes along with owning a pet, that it’s been linked to actually (honestly) improving your mental health! Dogs and cats, most specifically, help our happiness, positive mindsets, and feelings of sense of purpose, commitment, and unconditional love. They’re there to help us when we’re sad and they provide us with special memories that are made, each time they do something funny or photo-worthy. Pets are a wonderful part of life, and so we take a month out of the year to honor them and all they bring to us, in life.
We LOVE pets as much as you do!
If you don’t know, Pinot’s Palette is a big fan of pets! So much, that we regularly host a paint your pet class called, ‘Project Pet’. This has steadily been one of our most-loved and most-popular classes with seats always selling out and our customers leaving, happy. It’s fun to paint! Whether you’re new to the painting experience and are looking to try something interesting and fun for a change OR if you’ve been painting for years and are always looking for any excuse to create something, a painting and wine class is amazing! We offer thousands of paintings, ranging from landscapes and florals, to people, wine, and animals. While all of our subjects are enjoyable to paint, nothing is as personal, customized, and special as painting your beloved pet. Furry or scaly, feathered or gilled, when you paint a picture of that special living creature in your life, it just feels good.

If you’re interested in singing up for one of our classes, here’s how it works:
1.Sign Up!
Once you sign up for the class, you’ll email us the photo of your pet that you want to recreate. This picture will need to be sent to us, about 2 weeks before the class, so we can get it printed onto the canvas.
***For the June 16 class, the deadline for photo submission is: May 29
2.Come on in!
Come in to the studio on June 16 and create a handmade work of art in honor of your beloved pet or in memory of a lost one. Your pet will be waiting for you, printed on the canvas, when you come in on the day of the class!
3.Paint!
There is no right or wrong way to make your art, so remember… anyway you choose to recreate the image of your pet is perfect! With the help of our artists, you can make your painting look realistic, cartoon style, colorful (think: ‘Pop Art’), black and white, and more!
We’ve seen it done, countless ways, and they look amazing, no matter what!
OUR NEXT 'PROJECT PET' CLASS will be JUNE 16— be sure to sign up ASAP!

May is National Pet Month- a celebration of the benefits that pets bring to people's lives and vice-versa
National Pet Month aims to promote the benefits of pet ownership, support pet adoption, and make people aware of the benefits of pets for people and people for pets. It is also good for increasing public awareness of services available from professionals who work with animals and raising awareness of the role, value and contribution to society of working companion animals.
