We’re offering some lovely paintings this month that look like they’re right out of a watercolor class. The light and airy look of them, some even with watery drips, will instantly remind you of a watercolor work of art, a timeless and classic style of painting.
While we, here at Pinot's Palette, create all of our masterpieces with acrylic (plastic-based) paint, there’re still many ways to make it resemble watercolor; When you attend our classes, you get to learn a variety of techniques, including how to use water with your acrylic paint to make it work in various ways.
Check out these upcoming classes where the artists of the paintings were inspired by watercolor techniques, and make some of your own. The more the merrier, too... The more classes you attend at Pinot’s Palette, the more types of painting techniques you’ll learn! Each of our artworks are created in a unique way, ranging from slightly different to VERY different from the last one you created, so you’ll really begin to build your knowledge about painting! Once you’re comfortable enough to paint on your own whenever you’re inspired, you can use some of the similar techniques we’ve taught you with acrylics; Try out watercolor painting, sketching, using colored pencils, and more as you grow in your art-making.
