Getting to Know the Owner and Studio Manager
Anna is my best friend and a ball of exciting energy - keep in mind this blog is being written by her husband, so I may be a bit bias. Born in Novosibirsk, Russia she learned the value of hard work and competitiveness from an early age. Getting involved in Tennis at the local club, and playing chess with her father, at age 6. By age 12 the family migrated to Calgary, Alberta, Canada where I first met her at the local tennis club tryouts. Immediately, Anna and her brother were the highest ranked tennis players in the province and competing at the highest level nationally in their age groups and the age groups above. By the time she was 16, I was 14 at the time, my crush on her had really started to develop, however, she thought I was annoying, plain and simple. That is where my best characteristics began to develop and shine, hard work and determination! Back to the topic at hand, Anna, proceeded to play on a tennis scholarship at Stetson University in Florida majoring in Finance with a minor in business law. From there she went to Penn State University to complete her law degree, subsequently marrying myself (so glad she said yes!) and passing the bar exam in California. After a couple years of practicing law, an idea presented itself in Pinot’s Palette. The idea was brought on by a couple of curious entrepreneurial minds and some amazing experiences at Pinot’s Palette – Tustin. Huge fans of wine and painting we became, and a great business model we saw. Rare, is it you find a business that is purely about destressing and sharing joy through creativity. The paint and sip industry is bringing art to the masses!
