Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for a class?

Signing up is easy. Click the "Event Calendar" to view the classes available and simply click on the painting. Once you have selected a painting, click "Add to Cart." Follow the on-screen directions to complete the order. Contact us if you have trouble completing your order and we will walk you through the process.

When do I need to arrive for class?

We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before class starts to allow time for you to get settled in and mingle before the painting starts.

Do you have a bar?

Yes, we have a fully stocked bar. We offer a variety of mixed drink, beer, wine, soda, juice and mocktails will be available for purchase. NO BYOB!

Is there reserved seating?

Yes, we have your easel set up for you at your spot before you arrive for class. If you have friends attending the class that you’d like to sit by, you can let us know when you book the class or you can send us an email (…just make sure to give us at least 24 hours notice).

What is the cancellation policy?

Due to the custom nature of all our classes, no refunds will be issued for reservations. However, if you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice your payment will be turned into a credit that can be used for a future class within 90 days. If you no-show, or don't give at least 24 hours’ notice, you forfeit your reservation payment and will not receive a credit.

What do I need to bring to class?

We provide the canvas, easel, brushes, paints, and apron for the class. All you need to bring are any appetizers you might want during the class. We also provide the plates, napkins, and silverware. We have a fun list of Wines, Beers and soda to choose from for purchase. (No Alcohol Sales on Sunday.) And we always have complimentary water for all our painters!

I don't have any artistic talent. Will I be able to complete the painting?

Absolutely! Our artist will guide you step-by-step through the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your masterpiece by the end of class. There are no mistakes, but Acrylic paint dries quickly, making mistakes easy to fix and perfect.

What should I wear to class?

No dress code here...dress casual or dress up. We will provide you with an apron but painters have been known to get involved in their work of art. Paint can stain clothing and materials we will help you treat any spots that occur at the studio but are not responsible for any permanent damage working with wet paint may cause.

Can I bring in a friend to sit with me and not paint?

Unfortunately due to our seating capacity we do not allow people to attend our painting classes with out a reservation.

What is the age requirements for classes that are not kid or family classes?

We have events that are specified Families Welcome that are designed specifically with families and younger painters in mind. For our regularly scheduled painting events we recommend 13+ with adult supervision.

What is paint and sip?

Paint and sip events combine social drinking with painting. Our paint and sip studio offers beer and wine. Everyone gets a canvas and follows an artist’s instructions to recreate the featured painting on their own canvas. Paint and sip is not a serious art course – it’s about socializing and having fun.

Does the paint stain?

The acrylic paint we use will come out of your skin, hair, nails and hard surfaces such as jewelry but it will not come out of clothing or materials once it dries. Notify our staff of any spots as soon as they occur and we will do our best to help you get them out. We are not responsible for any permanent damage caused by wet paint.

What is the inclement weather policy?

In a snow emergency level, 2 or 3- the studio will be closed. Your options are as follows: the class will be rescheduled within 30 days or you may choose any painting on the calendar that you wish you do. Please call the studio or visit our Facebook page for weather cancellations.
