Beat the Summer Heat with These Sweet Recipes
It’s finally June! The sun is out, the pool is open, and the heat is sweltering. Are you loving summer, having an outdoor girl’s night, or just enjoying the sunshine? Maybe you want some fun foods to make you feel like the coolest person on the block, then you’re at the right place. Root Beer
Vanilla Ice Cream
Cool the root beer for 10-15 minutes
Put a tablespoon of ice cream in the mold, fill with root beer, top with another tablespoon of ice cream. (No molds? No Problem! Just use paper cups and peel.)
Freeze for 2-3 hours.
Frozen Banana Bites
Bananas
Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Melt the chocolate and slice the bananas, then immerse banana slices in melted chocolate.
Freeze for 2-3 hours.
Apple Nachos
Apples
Chocolate Chips
Peanut Butter
Chopped Almonds
Core and Slice apples. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.
Arrange apple slices on plate, drizzle in chocolate and peanut butter and sprinkle with almonds.
