Artist, Educator & Entertainer

Pinot's Palette Webster Groves is the industry leader in the "paint and sip" industry and we are looking for a FUN, ENERGETIC and OUTGOING Artist and/or Artist Assistant who is also a great entertainer for an ongoing part time position. This is NOT your typical "part-time" position. Artist get what they put and can make full time pay with part time work! We are in the entertainment industry so most shifts are nights and weekends, but we do offer kids camps and corporate events so there are some day shifts too. While there are several there are several other companies offering the "paint and sip" experience, Pinot's Palette Webster Groves is locally owned and is the leader in quality experience for our customers as well as professionalism and compensation for our employees (yes, employee not independent contractor!) We set ourselves apart by providing our guest a luxury painting experience and offering excellent customer service that creates a fun environment and great memories! Artist are responsible for leading a group of up to 42 people through an assigned acrylic painting in a 2 or 3 hour setting. We are focused on bringing art to the masses, so teaching in a fun and inviting matter is important. Preferred Education/Experience includes a college degree in Art or Design related field (but not required for those who have an extremely outgoing personality), some previous experience leading a group of people (not necessarily a classroom but leading a large group), and experience in customer service. Worried you don't have enough artistic talent but interested still? If you are outgoing, able to assist an artist with getting supplies, setting up, handling phones, working a POS system, booking parties, help selling products- we may still have a position for you! For either position, responsibilities would include creating & developing paintings to be taught in classes and used for promotional items, instructing customers during class in an energetic, clear and well-paced manner while encouraging creativity and creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere, and assisting customers and staff member(s) to ensure smooth class flow and promote customer painting success through teamwork and positive attitude. We ask that our artist & assistants have the ability to design and execute quality, acrylic paintings in various painting styles, be extremely outgoing and personable with excellent public speaking or performance skills (comfortable speaking on a microphone) along with great time management and communication skills.If you have never heard of a place like this please visit our website, our Facebook page, or our YouTube page to find out more about us.
