Did you know that one in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime? That is a staggering statistic. Perhaps you haven’t been affected personally, but it’s likely a family member, a friend or someone you know has battled the disease.When Pinot’s Palette began in 2009, the founders made a value statement that the company would have a commitment to community and partners. This year, we decided it was time to do a nationwide fundraising event and that Pinot’s Palette would support the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). NBCF’s mission is to give women access to mammograms and early detection services. This mission is important because the 5-year survival rate when breast cancer is detected early (localized stage), is 98 percent!
