Week 6 - Little Brushes by Pinot's Palette Offers Kids' Art Enrichment Camps Summer 2014

WEEK SIX (Aug 11th – Aug 15th, 2014)9am – 12pmMural Making WeekStudents will learn how to design and execute a mural in the studio then take their skills outside! Students will also learn about different mural and trompe o’liel techniques. Students will also make a canvas version of their created mural. Monday – Students will begin the day learning about the history of mural making. We will discuss trompe o’leil techniques and how it is used in Mural making. We will design and paint our own Niche painting. Tuesday – Learn marble making, wood making and how to create paint and draw beautiful drapery! Wednesday – Students will start drawing and designing their very own mural painting which will be on a large scale canvas. Thursday and Friday – We will take two days to paint a large scale mural painting on canvas! It will be hung in a prominent place in the Stamford Community! This is going to be challenging but super exciting for a young creative budding artist.
