How It Works
How To Book
Request an event date by clicking on any "Plan An Event" button and we will contact you ASAP (no later than one business day) to confirm your date and collect your deposit. Once availability is confirmed by the studio, a $250 refundable* deposit is required to secure your desired date and time.
Deposits
Deposits are refunded the first business day after the event, if the minimum headcount was met. If the minimum headcount wasn't met, empty seats up to the minimum are deducted from the deposit. The remainder of the deposit will then be refunded, as applicable. A host may also elect to apply the deposit, partially or in full, to other party charges or individual seats.
The minimum requirements for a private event are as follows (based on private party room occupancy): Wednesday-Thursday 10 paid seats, Friday-Sunday 15 paid seats. Please contact the studio to host a party in the main studio.
All deposits are 100% refundable if your party is canceled 10 business days before the event. Alternatively, subject to studio availability, a private party may be rescheduled once with full deposit applied, with at least 10 business days' notice before the originally scheduled event date.
What's Included
We want your event to be fun, organized and effortless. We provide you with all the supplies needed for a party, including the room, art supplies, ice & ice buckets, paper plates, napkins, plastic utensils, glassware, and music as well as our helpful artist(s) to host and guide your guests through the event. We have an in-studio bar where guests can purchase from an assortment of beverages. See below for more details.
Private Party Room
In-studio parties for 10-24 guests are held in our private party room while parties with 24-48 guests can be held in our main studio. Our entire studio can accommodate 72 guests. Please contact the studio at (352) 340-4242 to host a party with more than 24 guests.
Art Supplies
We will provide all the art supplies including canvases, brushes, paints, easels, aprons and anything else needed to finish a masterpiece. Ask about art supply upgrades for your canvas!
Professional Instruction
Our instructors are professional artists themselves, and they are well-trained in making the painting process simple and enjoyable for painters of all skill levels. Everyone gets step-by-step instructions at a comfortable pace.
Ice, Ice Buckets, Water
Our studio is equipped with ice and ice buckets to make it easier to keep drinks and food at the right temperature. Our in-studio bar has something for everyone! Guests may purchase beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the event.
Glassware
We provide real glassware for all guests. No need to go out and buy disposable cups! We also provide paper plates, napkins, and plastic utensils.
Music
We will have a crowd-pleasing playlist ready for you. Or you can tell us what sort of music you would like for your event, and we will tailor a playlist to fit your needs. And don't worry – we make sure the music doesn't get in the way of hearing the artist's instructions.
Food And Drinks
You are welcome to bring any food, but we recommend finger foods, as not to have anything large get in the way of your painting. You will have plenty of counter space for food or gifts. We have a nice selection of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase at the bar.
Event Details
Unless you have worked out other arrangements with us, doors will open 30 minutes before painting starts. This gives guests time to arrive, settle in and socialize, and gives the host time to set up food and other items for the party. You are welcome to bring decorations! We also have a designated area to keep purses and coats for you and your guests.
Painting Selection
Please provide your top three (3) desired paintings. We will always try to make sure you get your first choice; but due to occasional scheduling conflicts or artist availability, we may select one of your other top choices.
You don't have to choose a painting to book an event, but the final selection must be confirmed with the studio at least two weeks before your event date.
